Summary:

We are looking for a Shift Leader to join our Production Management Team and lead from the front to drive performance, efficiency, and team morale.

Being a team player and a motivator will be key in ensuring your team are in the right place, at the right time.

Your ability to dynamically problem-solve and manage people will be called upon to keep your shift running smoothly.

A successful Shift Leader will need to be able to identify problems quickly and coach and mentor their team to implement solutions effectively and efficiently.

We operate continental shifts on a 4 on/4 off rotation with night work included.

Duties:

Manage and support the team of Team Leaders, Technical Operative and Operatives with duty allocation, recruitment, learning and development and other daytoday manage such as with absences
Work with colleagues in the Continuous Improvement Team to improvement resource performance e.g. plant, equipment and people
Manage new product introduction
Take an active role in monitoring shift performance against defined KPIs and be able to provide sound rationale and justification for any underperformance
Remain compliant within company and industry frameworks and operative procedures

Education and training:

Good standard of written and spoken English
Previous of experience working within the food production industry is essential
Previous of experience of managing people is essential

Understanding of the LEAN model is desirable but not essential
