Description

Based at the heart of the world's premier insurance market in London, Tysers employs over 1000 people working with leading (re)insurance markets worldwide to deliver risk solutions to a global client base.

You will be part of the Cost Control & Reporting team. This role will support the teams operational outputs.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting the delivery of core AP activities where needed
Coding and processing of invoices
Reviewing and submission of expenses
Supporting the business to understand and manage its finances, through engagement, reporting and proactively forecasting outcomes
Booking journals to recognise accounting events
Preparation and submission of balance sheet account reconciliations (i.e. bank, prepayment and accrual accounts)
Support during the implementation of Concur platform for business expenses
Month end journals and reconciliation which will enable accurate and timely management information (MI) to be supplied to the business
Adhoc project work focusing on improvement opportunities within the team as well as the wider finance function
Active engagement with other corporate functions to help improve financial awareness
Providing support to the AP Manager
Continued review and processing of transactions within finance costs platform (Proactis)
Adhoc project support within finance and the wider business

Skills/ Knowledge*- Experience within a corporate environment

A focus on constant improvement and evolution of processes
Strong collaboration skills
Strong written and oral communications

Qualifications

Part qualified/ recently commenced study (AAT)
Strong excel skills are essential
