Description
Remedy Medical are currently seeking a Locum Band 5 Community Nurse.

As a community nurse you will be caring for people in the community including older people, people with physical disabilities, sensory impairment, terminal illness, dementia - and their carers / dependents - in their home, in clinics or intermediate care communityhealthcare environment.


About The Role (Duties):

Duties of district nurse may include:

  • Wound care
  • leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds and lacerations
  • Catheterisation male, female and suprapubic


  • Injections

  • IM, Subcut
  • Compression bandaging


  • IVs

  • PICC line antibiotic administration, flushing, dressing and bung change
  • Holistic assessment
  • Palliative Care
