Description

In this role, key accountabilities will be to:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers (and customers where appropriate), resolving concerns and evaluating performance
  • Communicating with internal customers and suppliers, gathering details and ensuring all relevant parties are kept well informed
  • Ensure purchase orders are placed with suppliers in a timely manner
  • Continually review changing requirements, taking appropriate action to ensure ongoing supply of required materials
  • Housekeeping of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system data to ensure accurate MRP results
  • Utilise and analyse information to improve decision making
  • Handling stock/supply issues to minimise the impact to the company and to our customers with follow up actions taken to reduce risk


To succeed in this role, you will have strong organisational skills, IT systems knowledge to include excel and good communication skills.

Experience of MRP systems and sales forecasts would be an advantage as would understanding of supply chain processes.
