Lettings Administrator - Chelmsford/Hybrid

Current or previous experience within Residential Lettings is essential

Salary & Benefits
Full-time basic salary up to
£24,000 depending on relevant experience, plus bonuses.


Hours of work
5 or 4 days per week, 8.30am to 5.30pm (no weekends). Ideally, if working 4 days each week, then this will include a Friday.


First 2- 3 months will be worked in the office for training and development then hybrid
5 day - the split would be 2x in Office each week & 3x WFH each week

4 day - the split would be 2x in Office each week and 2x WFH each week

Administrators to join our Company who will provide vital support to our busy lettings department.

This is a hybrid role working between our Head Office in Springfield, Chelmsford, and from home.

Duties of the role will include (but not limited to):

  • Preparing paperwork linked to tenancy renewals.
  • Booking appointments with tenants for our Property Inspections Clerks.
  • Liaising with internal branches to request specific information linked to tenancy renewals and processing accordingly.
  • Maintaining uptodate property records on our internal system
  • Process renewal data between Microsoft Excel and our own internal software system
  • Assist with preparing Tenancy Notices
  • Processing reports prepared by Property Inspection Clerks and dispatching to the landlord.
  • Manage DocuSign, the digital platform to process landlord/ tenant renewal related paperwork

Essential:


  • Previous experience within Residential Lettings
  • Well organised and strong attention to detail
  • A proactive 'can do' attitude and approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Personable and wants to be a team player.
  • An eye for very strong attention to detail is of paramount importance.
  • IT proficient, familiar with MS Office packages and able to grasp 'cutting edge' technology quickly
