Building on our recent, hugely successful expansion in Kent & London, BIG Motoring World is now looking for a Sales Controller to join our team at our Wimbledon sales site.

supermarkets. A car supermarket that stocks over 3500 cars from a vast number of manufacturers and features a team that's made up by over 300 members of staff.


Role Profile - Sales Controller


As a Sales Controller for Big Motoring World you assist the Management in looking after our Sales team - the driving force behind our business.

We expect the highest levels of professionalism and customer service to meet demanding targets and in turn you will be rewarded with a competitive commission structure with great earning potential.

Sales Controllers should be maximizing profitability per unit sales, exploring sales opportunities and overseeing all sales enquiries for the designated site.


Role and responsibilities

  • To report directly to the Management and oversee the sales operation
  • To second face customer to maximise sales and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with the operational aspect of yard for the sale of used cars
  • Help to direct and motivate the sales team whilst remaining a key member of it
  • Implement effective sales plans
  • Advise customers of finance and insurance products and services
  • Monitor payments and manage Finance agreements
  • Work to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Ensure the whole sales experience is delivered to every customer
  • Complete paperwork tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Take customers out for test drives, demonstrating mature and respectable behaviour and adhering to all road/traffic laws
  • Build relationships with customers with a view to anticipating future business and strengthening the Company's reputation within the marketplace
  • Lead by example and inspire your team to achieve outstanding sales results whilst delivering exceptional customer service
  • Communicate clearly, proactively and professionally to customers, management and colleagues alike and treat everyone with respect
  • Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures and Codes of Conduct

  • Full driving licence
  • A good head for figures and understanding of personal finance issues

  • Sales experience within the automotive industry (Desirable)
