Sales Support Administrator

Northampton

Monday - Friday

£21-23k
ACS are proud to be representing a Global Freight Forwarder with over 35 years' experience in Logistics.

This is a brand-new role to provide sales support to the Branch Manager in generating new business through existing data, lapsed business and sales leads.

As well as this you will assist with customer and agent rate quotation requests for sea, air and road transport in a timely and efficient manner.

Previous industry/sales experience is advantageous but not essential as full training and support provided.

Duties

  • Sales calls to potential and new customers
  • Quoting customers/agents & follow up
  • Requesting quotes from local/overseas agents, air lines and shipping lines
  • Enter quotes and follow ups to MultiFreight software
  • Passing accepted rates/bookings to freight forwarding team with any specific instructions
  • MultiFreight account/address maintenance
  • Ad Hoc projects as provided by Branch Manager which might include telesales related duties
  • Support in creating company presentations for customer meetings

Skills

  • Previous industry/sales experience advantageous but not essential as full training and support provided.
  • Proactive, strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Good numerical skills and eye for details
  • Good Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Polite and clear written and verbal communication skills essential
