About Our Client:

A well respected Burgess Hill based employer are looking to recruit a full time Senior Credit Controller.

As Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure sales invoices are raised correctly
  • Verifying accuracy of all sales information within the system through liaising with individual sites and the wider finance team
  • Allocate sales ledger cash received on a daily basis, ensuring targets are met
  • Deal with cash related queries from internal and external customers
  • Investigate and reconcile individual accounts to resolve disputes and escalate these to line manager where required
  • Production and distribution of monthly aged debt reports
  • Chase all outstanding debt on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain debt levels within prescribed targets as set by manager
  • Manage the production of monthly occupancy reports to strict deadlines
  • Monthly production of the Accrued and Deferred income journals
  • Produce sales ledger reports as required
  • Ensure specified Sales Ledger balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis

The Successful Applicant:


  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable procedures
  • Experience and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel
