Description

We are one of the leading food manufacturers supplying chilled and frozen food to the healthcare and complimentary markets.

We are based in Colchester, Essex, we have a new and excellent opportunity for a Decant operative to join our team decanting ingredients.

This role involves compiling recipe ingredients ready for the chefs to cook.

You must adhere to excellent food hygiene practices and food safety standards through full traceability record keeping cleaning and ongoing training.

Flexibility is required.

Shift:
Sunday to Thursday. Start time 07:30 hrs to 16:00 hrs. 40 hours per week.

The rate of pay is from £10.53 per hour.

Applicants must have:

A good work ethos, and a flexible working approach to tasks and hours
High manual dexterity as decanting of ingredients, weighing and traying of products is required.
Able to lift weights up to 25k
Good attention to detail
Good literacy and numeracy skills
A good standard of written and spoken English
The ability to manage their own time effectively to achieve daily tasks and targets within a small team
You will be comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment
Full PPE provided

Worked in a food manufacturing factory
