With over 30 years in the transport and warehousing industry, McGregor Logistics offers a solution for all general haulage requirements, from full load deliveries, Biomass sourcing and delivering, Pallet Distribution (Palletways), European delivery service, Warehousing and HGV vehicle servicing and repairs.

With its head office based in Doncaster, and operations in Tilbury Docks and Cardiff, McGregor Logistics operates a large and diverse fleet enabling us to provide a reliable and consistent service to our customers.

We have a newer fleet of c 75 DAF trucks equipped with Double Bunks, Fridge, Microwave, TV, 24v-240v Inverters, Climate control, leather steering wheel and much more.

We operate c150 trailers, including curtain sided trailers, walking floor trailers, Moffett mounted curtain sided trailers, skeletal trailers, refrigerated box trailers and low loaders.

Role Responsibilities

Unload collection and delivery vehicles
Load Trunk (Double Decks) trailers
Scanning of freight
Warehousing housekeeping
Order Picking
Putting storage stock away
Tranships
Route Planning Training (For holiday cover)

Person Requirements

Forklift (Counterbalance and Reach) licence and experience preferred
FLT essential
Pallet Network experience preferred.
Experience of traffic (route) planning preferred

- "Can do" attitude

Ability to work under pressure
Able to meet the physical demands of the job eg loading/unloading, operating curtainsiders etc
Computer literate
Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
Safety conscious ensuring that personal, FLT and load safety, and that of others, is a key priority.
