We are seeking an experienced Science Technician to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Science Department at [Insert School Name].

As a Science Technician, you will provide support to teachers and students in the Science Department by maintaining laboratoryequipment, preparing materials for experiments, and ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed.


Responsibilities:


  • Preparing and setting up laboratory equipment and materials for practical lessons
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring that it is clean and in good working order
  • Ordering and replenishing laboratory supplies and equipment
  • Assisting with the development and testing of new experiments and resources
  • Ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed in the Science Department
  • Providing technical support and guidance to students and teachers

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working as a Science Technician, preferably in a secondary school setting
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
