Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant | ASD 1:1 | Camden

Do you have a passion for helping children with special needs? Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for an opportunity to make a difference?

ORTUS RECRUITMENT are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team at our client school to support a child with autism. In this role, you will provide one-on-one assistance to the student, helping them to learn and develop their skills and abilities.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing educational assistance to a child with autism.

You will work in collaboration with the student's teachers and other professionals to create individualized educational plans to best meet the student's needs.

You will also provide direct instruction to the student, help with classroom activities, and provide support during therapies.

A patient and motivating approach to teaching
The ability to work in a team but also take initiative when needed
Excellent time management and attendance
Experience working with SEN children and a passion for supporting them
Minimum 2:2 degree or Level 3 qualification
A cando attitude
