Overview:


  • Location: ReadingWe are recruiting a Secretary to provide project and administrative support to the Cost Management teams in the Reading office. You will have experience working as part of a team providing administrative support. You will be a strong Administrator who is highly organised, selfmotivated and able to work on your own initiative. Your ability to prioritise and plan, balancing priorities and deadlines will ensure your success in this role.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding and experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential. This is an exciting opportunity with good long-term prospects for a self-motivated and organised individual.

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Providing an excellent, efficient, and responsive service for all people who contact the team reflecting the Ridge quality
  • Assistance with organising social and marketing events
  • Assistance with the preparation of tender documents, submissions, and presentation documents
  • First point of contact for client queries
  • Client account management raising fee invoices and managing outstanding client invoices
  • General administration tasks
  • Booking hotel accommodation for staff
  • Quality assurance checks for documents being issued to clients. Ensuring they are in the Ridge agreed format
  • Document management/control
  • Social media posts
  • Supporting wider office administration

Experience and Skills Required:


  • Ability to work proactively and efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office 36
  • Experience of using social media
