What you'll be doing:


A multi-skilled, varied role, working both in the office environment and in the community, the Care Link Officers primarily respond to emergency calls such as falls, assisting customers using our specialised lifting equipment.

You will also be required to operate a computerised calls handling system, answering and triaging calls from customers.

You will liaise with a range of WDH employees, Wakefield Council or other appropriate agencies to ensure an effective response to alarm calls and undertake clerical and administrative duties where necessary.


We are looking for applicants who have:

  • qualification at level 2 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework;
- experience of dealing with older or vulnerable people;
- excellent customer service and communication skills;
- ability to work on own initiative dealing with a variety of issues, sometimes in emergency situations; and
