The Priory Hospital Dewsbury has an opening for an Activities Co-Ordinator.

The activity co-ordinator is a healthcare professional who creates and coordinates enrichment activity programmes for our residents.

There's no such thing as a typical day in Occupational Therapy, with a range of activities on offer, you might find yourself running a trip to the cinema on one day, and leading a messy painting session the next The possibilities are endless, and anyone with a creative mind and interest in patient care will thrive in this role.

Set within a safe and therapeutic environment, the Priory Hospital Dewsbury is a 32 bedded locked service, supporting two different service user groups:

Hartley Ward is a 16 bed ward that focuses upon the active rehabilitation of men with mental health issues. The emphasis is upon stabilising mental health, reducing risks and enhancing independent living skills, with a view to reintegration into the community.
Jubilee Ward is a 16 bed ward that supports men with dementia, and behaviours that challenge
