WHAT TO EXPECT


This role has the lead responsibility for conducting IATF 16949 internal audits across the Creative chapter and supporting teams to identify intellectual property opportunities in time across vehicle, product and brand designs.

This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a Creative risk register and managing the GDPR privacy by design and default process and risk assessments within Creative.


WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Ensuring business operations/processes are in compliance with international standards and internal procedures and policies through internal auditing and problem solving,
  • Liaise and work with teams in Creative, legal and Commercial to support early identification of intellectual property opportunities for JLR vehicle and brand designs.
  • Develop IP strategy and process for Creative bringing together a standard approach for all brands / identity whilst also allowing each brand / identity to develop individually.
  • Maintaining a Creative risk register and identifying potential future Creative risks.
  • Identification of new and updated processes within Creative that contain personally identifiable information (PII) and completion of GDPR risk assessments.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:

  • Hard Skills:_
  • Good experience of IATF 16949:2016 audits, problem solving, GDPR and risk identification.
  • Experience in intellectual property and early identification of design and brand protection opportunities across various products and designs.
  • A good understanding and experience of design approach and processes including knowledge of product and brand design (automotive and non automotive).
  • Ability to project manage to tight deadlines and interface with various teams on critical projects and paths.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Soft Skills:_
  • Excellent two way communication skills and the ability to relate to and communicate at all levels.
  • Good influencing skills and determined mindset with the ability to collaborate across various teams and skillsets to enable all people to understand processes and reasoning.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, capable of working with mínimal supervision to meet objectives and implement processes on their own.
  • Logical thinker with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving.
  • Good design industry knowledge and interests across different markets, products and brands.
