Billings Clerk/ Payroll/ Pay and Bill/ Hybrid Working/ Career Development/ Excellent Benefits and Incentives / Free On Site Parking
I am looking for a Pay and Bill Clerk to join a vibrant and friendly team in Chester.

This position will suit somebody from an administrative or billings background who is keen to develop their career further within an excellent organisation that can offer an excellent employment package.


This is a fast-paced and varied role that will require excellent time management skills and a high degree of accuracy.


  • Review client payroll submissions and ensure that the processes are completed accurately and inline with time deadlines.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of all requested weekly employee payments (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
  • Ensure that all pay, and bill requests are supported by relevant supporting documentation prior to processing.
  • Proactive resolution of any payroll or billing queries.
  • Review and action worker requests regarding; payments, holiday pay, P45 requests, etc.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all weekly client invoices (with supporting documentation)
  • Escalate any credit note requests and invoice amendments to the Senior Team for approval.
  • Maintain guidelines, policies, and procedures at all times.
  • Support with any additional requirements within the pay and bill team as required.

Requirements:


  • A positive, proactive, and organized approach to all tasks and duties
  • The ability to support and work alongside a friendly and ambitious team to achieve team targets and results whilst maintaining an excellent level of service to clients.
  • Previous experience in an administrative capacity
  • A customer focused approach.
  • Excellent levels of accuracy and time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem solving and query resolution abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to change and prioritise tasks accordingly.
