SEO Manager


Location:
Shoreditch, London (Hybrid)


Duration: 12 months contract initially

The challenge:


  • Our client is one of the most heavily trafficked corporate websites in the world, the front door for the majority of our customers, and a primary revenue generator.
  • Within the SEO team we are focused on unlocking further traffic growth opportunities and aligning content strategy to customer intent.
  • We are also equally up to the task of getting into the details by digging deep into the data and crafting insights that help internal partners shape web journeys and campaigns.
  • Making client's site a world class experience for all site visitors across the entire customer journey.
  • The UK SEO Manager will be responsible for identifying key opportunities, based on data, using this to craft and promote impactful, locally relevant customer experiences on client's site in alignment with strategic goals.

About you:


  • We are looking for someone passionate about SEO With strong knowledge of SEO methodologies, ranking strategies and a passion to stay on top of trends.
  • The person is selfmotivated and feels comfortable prioritising multiple projects, with multiple remote teams simultaneously.

Ways of working:


  • Having gained a deep understanding of the SEO strategy and internal workflows the UK SEO Manager will find opportunities taking full ownership of the endtoend process of implementation.
  • Working alongside a wellestablished SEO team and web experience managers, this role will be pivotal in orchestrating and handle project delivery following a quarterly cycle of execution and performance reporting.

What you'll do:


  • Responsible for the success of SEO traffic growth through management of organic optimisation projects on client's site in the UK to meet business goals
  • Conduct keyword research, content and competitor analysis to better optimise existing content, identify gaps, drive new traffic opportunities and to influence the overall strategy across client's site
  • Align with the corporate big bets and continuously spot opportunities to drive value through the SEO Centre of Excellence
  • Prepare, prioritise, opportunity size and maintain project schedules
  • Socialise and champion the SEO content strategy amongst various crossfunctional partners on the back of forecasts, providing regular project progress updates.
  • Transform requirements into briefs and documentation to support the development and execution of optimisation and test activities
  • Handle market by market vendor relationships
  • Analyse the client's website to provide recommendations for search engine improvements in priority markets to identify new opportunities and support wider strategy.
  • Support the team in the weekly, quarterly monitoring, reporting and communication of SEO health in relation to performance, search trends, providing meaningful insights.
  • Assess and evaluate impact of SEO initiatives

Key requirements:


  • English spoken language
  • 4+ years SEO experience managing and delivering SEO projects to the highest standards
  • A thirst for organization, efficiency, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Great interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of SEO analytics and research platforms as well as familiarity with various thirdparty SEO solutions
  • Comfortable using Client's and SEO analytics tools to answer data related questions both in support of performance reporting and hypothesis definition.
  • Experience in providing keyword research, forecasts, and performance reports around core SEO metrics, including, keyword ranking and traffic.
  • Specialist understanding of online marketing and web analytics.
  • Physical presentation and PPT skills are essential
