Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Functional Skills/GCSE English Tutor to join our team in Bradford. This is a full-time permanent position, with a competitive salary of £28,839.

As a Functional Skills /GCSE English Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a diverse range of learners.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that support learners to achieve their Functional Skills qualifications and progress to further education or employment.

Key responsibilities:

Delivering highquality teaching and learning in Functional Skills/GCSE English.
Planning and preparing lessons that meet the needs of individual learners.
Monitoring and assessing learner progress, providing regular feedback to support their development.
Ensuring that all learners are supported to achieve their Functional Skills qualifications.
Working collaboratively with other members of the teaching team to continuously improve teaching and learning.

Essential requirements:

A relevant degree or teaching qualification.
Experience of teaching Functional Skills English.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A commitment to providing highquality teaching and learning.

Desirable requirements:

Experience of teaching English to learners with additional needs.
Knowledge of the Bradford community and local education providers.
