2fawcett are recruiting for a motivated and experienced Buyer to join our client a manufacturing company specializing in the design, production, and installation.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including production, design, and sales, to determine procurement needs and requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria.
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure favorable pricing and terms for the company.
Monitor and analyze market trends, prices, and supplier performance to identify costsaving opportunities and improve supplier relationships.
Manage the procurement process from requisition to receipt, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and maintain optimal stock levels.
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as necessary.
Proactively identify and address supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies in the signage manufacturing industry.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

- years of experience as a Buyer or in a procurement role, preferably within the design/ manufacturing industry.

Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and sourcing strategies.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Proficient in using procurement software and systems.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Understanding of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
