It's a great time to join us as we continue our success through 2023 and beyond and we have created an exciting new opportunity for a proactive Customer Resales Advisor to join our successful sales team.


About the role


Our Customer Resales Advisor will be the first point of contact for a customer or family member wishing to buy or rent a home through the Lifestory resales/lettings service.


You will hold an integral position within our growing Rental and Resales Team, which is currently going through a period of growth in response to the future needs of the business in line with our move to a BTR (Build to Rent) model.


Day to day, this role will be responsible for making contact with potential customers in order to create leads, manage Lifestory's significant databases and to maintain and book viewings of our Resales Advisors across the country.


  • Supporting the Resales team in creating appointments and dealing with enquiries on sold out sites.
  • Ensure that existing databases are managed and kept live in order to deliver an end goal of relevant, regularly contacted and qualified waiting lists.
  • React to inbound enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Regularly liaise with the Resales team in order to book their diaries.
  • Qualify all applicants and keep meticulous notes on systems in line with GDPR
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of our developments, communities and product choices.
  • Utilise Lifestory's database to generate interest and arrange viewings on properties
  • Maintain our CRM (Salesforce) to a high standard with fully qualified information, up to date notes and keep on top of tasks in order to ensure correct Management Information is easily accessible
  • Report on the condition of each development's waiting list.
  • Achieve target number of outbound calls across a variety of databases as directed.
  • Crosssell alternative developments that may suit a customer's requirements more closely.
  • Provide a weekly report to the Head of Reseles on the status of viewings and feedback.
  • Be an expert in products and services that Lifestory has to offer (rental, rent to buy, PX etc if crossselling).
  • Have an organised approach to be able to balance customers / workload for multiple sites.

About you


Ideally you'll have property sales experience but we are happy to consider other industry sectors as long as you have a demonstrable track record of success within telephone based sales.

You'll be home based so being comfortable working within a target focused role whilst working independently is essential.


Qualifications:


  • GCSE's Grade 'C' or above, including English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • A sales qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle as you will visit other regional offices and developments as required
Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Google Workspace is preferential or an aptitude and willingness to embrace new technology
  • Experience of Salesforce CRM is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills
  • Organised, efficient and a natural multitasker
  • Able to prioritise multiple demands on time
  • Able to work to deadlines and work under pressure
  • Maintains productivity with mínimal supervision
  • Able to collate, analyse and interpret management information where required

This is a full time, permanent role offered a hybrid basis with 1 day per week joining the team in our Winchester office.

This role offers a basic salary of £30,000 plus commission with an OTE of circa £45k per annum.
