The Senior GCC Tech Analyst provides first line support to customers of CME Group for technical, product, trading, and market-event enquiries.
In this role, the Senior Tech GCC Analyst works regularly in a customer-facing capacity to deliver informational assistancevia telephone and electronic means.
They will perform technical analysis and monitor data and order entry flow in a challenging fast-paced environment. More about the GCC here.Responsibilities will include and not be limited to the following:
- Develop ad-hoc queries and perform data analysis to create data driven solutions to support or change policy, process, procedures, and technology
- Field customer enquiries relating to market events, connectivity, business technology, and products
- Evaluate and monitor market activity and order flow for efficiency and anomalous behavior
- Perform investigations for both internal and external clients. Must be able to articulate difficult and complex problems and solutions to a broad range of audiences
Qualifications:
- Prior support experience in a customer facing position
- A knowledge of futures, options, cash markets and/or OTC products across Commodities, Equity, Interest Rates and FX Markets
- Strong technical background
Additional desirable qualifications:
- Comprehend investigative and analytical tools such as LINUX, SQL and Corvil
- Tenacious with a cando initiative and a strong desire to learn
- Dependable team player with the ability to work independently
- Experience working with big data, visualizations, and automation
- Involvement with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
Experience:
- Previous experience within trading, technical support, marketanalysis and customer support
- Able to understand and interpret FIX messages
- Demonstrate strong communication, written and problemsolving skills
- Advanced understanding of electronic trading
- Advanced Excel, VBA, Tableau a plus
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Proficiency in other languages a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent real world experience in relevant field
