Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Account Officer.
As an Account Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement.Accountant Position Overview
Key Responsibilities involve:
- Preparing and posting month end journals
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and produce Annual statutory accounts
- Assisting with preparation of month end management accounts for multiple entities
- Identifying variances, and analysing trends
- Monthly & Quarterly VAT returns
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Process payroll using Sage 50 Bright pay.
- Handle pensions and PAYE submissions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Proficiency in Accounting packages sage, iris, and other relevant financial software
- Strong Excel skills
- Assisting with purchase ledger when required
Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and be a self starter
- Ability to work well as part of a team and be a team player
- Have experience of working in an accounting practice
- Motivated to maintain up to date technical knowledge;
- Conscientious with excellent attention to detail
- Adhoc duties, reporting and analysis
- 3+ years' working in an Accountancy Practice
- ACCA/CIMA/AAT or Qualified by Experience

- 5:30pm
- Days Monday

- Annual leave 20 days + bank holidays
Pay:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
