Venture-People offer outreach support and housing solutions to individuals with a mental health need, maximising their independence with the right support at the right time.
We are looking for Support Workers who will make up a growing team within the Northern West Sussex team.
As a Support Worker you will be delivering quality support that enables people to achieve their outcomes by using and developing person-centred support plans.
You will be able to manage risks and vulnerabilities whilst promoting social inclusion and maximising the opportunities for the people you support.

On a full-time contract your working pattern would be Monday - Friday or for 45 hours per week Monday - Friday This is an outreach position so you would be working in the Mid Sussex District.
Essential Skills:
- You should have an enthusiasm and interest in working within the mental health sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A willingness to go the extra mile
- You should have a flexible approach that respects individual differences with an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative
Desired Skills:
It would be desirable for you to have had experience of supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition and within a community-based services.
