The South West London Primary school is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an 'outstanding' secondary school and help support students for 5 days a week.

Do you have experience/training in learning support positions? Are you an aspiring teacher? Have you previously been a Teaching Assistant, HLTA, cover supervisor or had experience working with children?


In this Teaching Assistant role, you will be working with a student with ASD, supporting the student with their learning.

Working together with excellent teachers, school staff and family of the student to help provide a nurturing environment for them to learn.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Current DBS certificate or the intention to apply
  • 2 quality recent references
  • Experience working with visual impairment
  • Proactive and positive attitude to strive for pupil development

DESIRABLE

  • Relative certification/qualification
  • University degree
  • GCSE A*C or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children
