What you'll be doing:
- To cover all inspection work within the build phase, working to set specification (Workmanship Standards and Process Instructions) set out by BAE and agreed with all key stakeholders.
- Work in line with the current inspection and test plan agreed by the business and working to a right firsttime approach.
- To carry out routine work with limited supervision and complex tasks under direct supervision in their related area/s.
- To be able to access and have a clear understanding of the Quality and HS&E Management system documentation e.g. Process instructions, Workmanship Standards, Risk Assessments in line with their work scope.
- To have a clear understanding and interpretation of measurement equipment tolerances and highlighting any nonconformances for inspections undertaken.
- Report results of inspections using the agreed processes set out by the business.
Your skills and experiences:
- Product Inspection Background
- Ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirements
- ICORR Level One Paint Inspection or Industry Equivalent, familiar with standards 1090 and ISO1307
- Time
- Served Tradesman
- Defence Based Experience
- Understanding of steel working construction / manufacturing and associate standards practices

The Quality Inspection team:
As Quality Inspector, you will report into HM with site leads requesting inspections.
