We are looking for a
Temporary Lab Technician for a short term contract based on Cambridge Science Park.

This could be for a couple of weeks or longer, whilst we recruit for a permanent member of staff.

We are looking to pay between £15.00 to £17.50 per hour for someone with the right experience, who can start quickly.

This person will need to be an experienced Laboratory Technician who is able to carry out the following activities:

General lab management and maintenance of a synthetic biology lab
Follow SOPs
Prepare media, solutions and help manage stock
Accurately record and report results clearly to fellow team members
Carry out daily and weekly checks of equipment
Verification and testing of various systems and devices under development.

Ideally, you will have an appropriate Scientific qualification, but your experience is more important.

We need somebody who can adapt to changing demands and requirements and pick new things up quickly.
