Are you an experienced finance professional looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you have previous experience within management accounts? Are you looking to join a tight-knit, sociable team?


My client is a large not-for-profit organisation based in the Cumbria area, looking to bolster it's finance team with an interim Finance Manager on a 12-month temporary basis covering maternity leave, with a strong potential to go permanent.


The main responsibilities of the interim Finance Manager are:

  • Responsible for the monthly management accounts and preparing the first drafts.
  • Responsible for accruals and prepayments and posting in the ledger.
  • Holding regular meetings with budget holders and offering them the required support.
  • Creating and sharing meetings to highlight key variances.

My client is looking for:


  • Strong experience within management accounts and balance sheets.
  • An ability to establish good relationships with strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in budgeting and liaising with budget holders.
  • Someone who can use their initiative and doesn't need to be micromanaged.
