Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum
- Assessing and evaluating student progress
- Providing constructive feedback to students and parents
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement curriculum
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest teaching methods and technology
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of student progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- A valid teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS)
- Proven experience teaching English to Secondary school students
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student population
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
