We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, hardworking and organised individual work as part of our team in Aintree Theatres
You will be part of a professional, friendly multi-disciplinary team.

Participate in development of self and othersWork collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of theatre staff
Responsible to ensure cleaning maintenance/repair and tracking of
equipment
Responsible to ensure appropriate stock levels maintained
Assist in general tidiness and cleanliness of the theatre area, maintaining a safe environment for all patients, staff and visitors.
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Unload, identify sterile stock and place in appropriate area throughout the day
Rotate sterile stock and maintain indate supply
Maintain cleanliness of stock area
Report all problems in relation to sterile items to Theatre Co-ordinator / Speciality Leader immediately
Maintain accurate records of stock received
DOMESTIC DUTIES
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all staff changing rooms
Ensure soiled footwear cleaned thoroughly and returned to changing rooms
Maintain of stock of theatre suits, hats, masks, etc
Empty linen and rubbish bags and replace
Ensure hygiene facilities are adequate
Maintain cleanliness of crockery, cutlery and all kitchen appliances and work surfaces
Maintain stock of domestic supplies
Daily collection of staff lunch and tea orders
Wear protective clothing when dealing with blood and body fluids and other hazardous substances
Understand precautions taken to reduce risk of fire explosion and electrical hazards within working area
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Maintain confidentiality
Communicate effectively with all staff
RECEIPT OF STORES
Signing for equipment received
Keeping accurate record of goods received
Filing of goods receipts
Delivery to the appropriate member of staff
MANUAL HANDLING
To maneuvre and handle cages of stores
To keep area free of obstructions
Putting away of heavy trays from truck to shelf
