Overview
2fawcett are currently seeking a
Stock Controller to join our client in Castle Donington on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied role where you will be hands on in a busy, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Stock Controller

Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality of products.
Properly label and store incoming inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
Prepare outgoing orders by accurately picking, packing, and labelling items according to customer specifications.
Utilise inventory management systems to track and update inventory levels.
Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with reconciling any discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following proper safety guidelines.
Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Identify areas for process improvement and provide suggestions to optimise warehouse operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements of the Stock Controller

Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
