Description
Our Smethwick based client is looking to hire a Warehouse Operative on a temp to perm basis. Hours are 7.30am-4pm Monday to Thursday / 7.30am

  • 1pm Friday.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform various warehouse duties including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and loading and unloading of packages
  • Use RF scanners and AS400 system to track inventory and locate items
  • Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to move materials within the warehouse
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and AS400 system is a plus
  • Knowledge of order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and shipping/receiving
