Severnvale Academy is a British Council accredited English language school in Shrewsbury, providing General English, Business English and Examination English courses for both professionals and junior students.
Severnvale Academy is recruiting for an exciting position,starting in January 2023
The role involves:
- managing the short-term accommodation and welfare requirements for our international students in Shrewsbury
- maintaining current homestay accommodation: recruiting and onboarding new hosts
- advertising and marketing to identify new homestay accommodation providers
- recruitment of seasonal administrative and teaching staff
- team resourcing (timetabling)
- financial administration (basic bookkeeping and payroll with direct supervision)
- arranging and attending student and host social events
- role includes on-call and weekend duties during seasonal course programme to ensure smooth operations at all times (across c. 10 weeks p.a.)
The role will be varied and rewarding - you will be joining a small team that is part of a family-run independent school that has been operating since 1982.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
