This role is Hybrid Manage the administrative functions required for effective delivery of Healthy Early Years programme which includes maintaining the project plan and databases and ensuring effective management of time and resources. Support operational/administrative aspects of the Healthy Early Years programme. To contribute to the development/editing of high quality communication materials, data reports and presentations.


Specifics include:

  • Manage the Healthy Early Years Hackney programme inbox which serves as the first point of contact for enquiries
  • Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in an efficient, timely and, as appropriate, confidential manner.
  • To oversee the preparation and organisation of high quality multiagency training events to include: booking venues, booking speakers, designing invites, overseeing the booking and registration process and contributing to presentation materials.
  • Collate activity data to produce reports/briefings as required for both internal and external clients. These high quality reports will contribute to effective evaluation of the service.
  • Identify new methods of communication to reach the target audiences.
  • Be responsible for maintaining a number of databases which are central to the effective functioning of the programme.
  • Support with diary management (programmer lead(s)..
  • Organise meetings including; the timely completion of agenda's, minutes and other related documents to ensure the meetings are effective and actions are followed through.

  • Qualifications:
  • 5 GCSE passes (Inc. English and Maths min Grade C) or equivalent
  • Project Management Qualification desirable
  • Higher Qualification relating to business/administration or training/teaching desirable
  • Early Years and Play (childcare) Qualification desirable
  • Experience:
  • Experience of planning and managing tasks in a timely and effective manner and to work to specified deadlines.
  • Experience of using Information Technology (Google) and willingness to learn office databases and IT packages.
  • Experience of planning and overseeing training events including conferences desirable
  • Experience of using mixed media in a creative way to get important messages across desirable
  • Experience of working under own initiative
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework and how it relates to policy development in early years
  • Knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme (05 Year age) desirable
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to collate information from a range of sources to assist with programme planning and coordination
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders both orally and in writing
  • Excellent minute taking skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multiagency, multisite team
  • Ability and willingness to work in a flexible manner including hybrid working
  • ICT Skills: Excellent ICT skills including ability to manipulate/collate date in Excel
