This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our rapidly expanding Frailty Service.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate that they are compassionate with frail older adults.

Can deliver care to others and demonstrate the values and behaviours that are essential for all who work for the NHS.


As a Health Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for working under delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse, in delivering a high standard of care to patients.

You'll recognise the importance of individualising care needs, use flexible, innovative and effective practice, to promote the care we give to frail older people within ULHT


As the Health Care Support Worker, you will help with patient hygiene and nutrition, as well as escorting patients to scan appointments and see to their wellbeing whilst with us.

This will be a 7 day a week service with planned opening between 08:00 - 20:00


We are a small unit and as a team we support each other and always put the needs of the patient central to all we do.


With training we support our HCSWs to develop skills in record observations, blood sugar readings, perform venepuncture, cannulation, bladder scans and ECG's.

You will be committed to delivering high quality patient centred care within the speciality of Frailty
