Location:
Telford based: however, homeworking will be considered if relevant experience and underwriting authorities have been achieved. You will be required to work in the Telford office 1 day per month once Home Working is agreed.


Flexible working:
All our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

Salary and benefits:
£26,400 - £43,400 plus 8% bonus up to 16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role
You will be responsible for managing your own annuity underwriting portfolio and making decisions within your own authority limits.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivery of a well-balanced, documented underwriting assessment to support your decision making to reach fair decisions in line with the appropriate medical and financial information.

Support other business areas with underwriting queries in line with the Underwriting philosophy.
