You'll take up this critical role within our laboratory team that offers water testing services for business, local authorities and private clients.

Speed and accuracy are vital to our service. If you enjoy driving then this role provides the chance to make a difference.

This position will mainly drive our Farnborough-Birmingham-Farnborough route.

You'll drive one of our dedicated collection vans to customer premises to collect samples and return them safely to our laboratory.

You'll work a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern which includes bank holidays and weekend. Runs are generally between 9am-6.30pm depending on the run you're assigned and traffic conditions. Flexibility is sometimes needed to cover between 7am-7pm.

You'll live within reasonable commuting distance to our Farnborough laboratory.

You may occasionally need to cover one of the other collection runs which includes travel to Kent, Hampshire, Oxfordshire or Cambridgeshire.

Runs are generally between 9am-6.30pm depending on the run you're assigned and traffic conditions. When you're not on a collection round, you'll assist in the laboratory to ensure good housekeeping and preparation. So, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our laboratory services.

What will you mainly be responsible for delivering?

The timely collection of water samples from company and clients premises and for transporting these back to our laboratory in Farnborough.
Adhere to the methods, procedures, quality systems and H&S requirements set out within the laboratory.
Assist other areas of Laboratory Services e.g. bottle preparation; stock control

What do you bring to the role?

Excellent Customer Service.
Clean Driver's Licence.
Comfortable with regularly driving for the duration of your shift.
Attention to detail.
