An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Mental health Outreach team. MH Outreach is a focused dynamic service which offers a range of reablement support for adults who are experiencing poor mental wellbeing.

The role:

We are looking for a flexible, motivated person, with a background in providing community based mental health support. You should be able to work independently, sometimes under pressure and have sound planning and organisational skills. This is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2024.

All applicants should have an understanding of mental health, substance misuse and community wellbeing issues. Personal experience and/or experience of working in these areas would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with workers from other agencies or disciplines.

An induction period will be undertaken and workers will be expected to participate in occasional evening and weekend work.

DBS clearance is required.


The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
