Tasks and Qualifications:

Making your impact

  • Carry out first line response to faults, blockages and issues on or around automated material handling equipment
  • Carry out tasks under limited supervision within approved guidelines and follow Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments and method Statements
  • Receive and complete work orders within planned or reactive work assignments
  • Resolve faults / blockages / issues within agreed timescales to ensure service delivery
  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
  • Assist the Maintenance Technician with daily maintenance tasks and help them resolve breakdowns
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain customer relations
  • Be proactive to help with efficiency of the system and reduce breakdowns.
Contributing to the team

  • Basic understanding of mechanical / electrical machinery is desirable (on an NVQ qualification ideal)
  • Experience of working in a warehouse or automated environment
  • Fair/Good IT skills
  • Good communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • Strong Health & Safety mindset
  • Willingness to work day shifts, night shifts & weekends
  • Ability to work with and compliment/contribute to a high performing team
  • Input ideas into the team to help make site and team improvements
