Assembly Operatives

Hourly rate:
£10.38

Location:
Scarborough area

Contract:
Temp to Perm

Hours: 2pm until 10pm Monday to Friday
Gi Group Scarborough are recruiting for Assembly Operatives to work alongside the Assembly team. You will be responsible for the safe accurate and timely assembly of cold rolled formed steel frames/structures.
As an Assembly Operative you will be required to;

Assemble structural metal frameworks for modular buildings
Work to detailed and varied engineering / technical drawings
Use all associated hand and electric tools
Produce work of a continually high standard
Work to tight production schedules

Skills and Experience:

Conversant with the safe use of various construction/manufacturing equipment and handheld tools
Confident with drilling machine
High levels of attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Able to read and interpret technical drawings

Benefits of the Assembly Operative role:

A generous weekly shift allowance of £76 when on 2pm-10pm shift

Temporary to permanent positions on completion of a successful probationary period
