Today we service over 30,000 customers, processing on average 5,000 orders per week and an estimated 5 million people going to work every day wearing a Badgemaster name badge.


Located in the village of Newstead, Nottinghamshire, we have great links to public transport including bus routes to Hucknall, Sutton in Ashfield/Kirkby in Ashfield and Mansfield.

The train station is within walking distance with provides regular services to Worksop and Nottingham City Centre.


We are looking to increase the number of staff within our engraving/print department to assist the team with the engraving/printing of customer information onto name badge blanks.


The right person should be able to cope under pressure, handle high volumes of work and be able to work under their own initiative.

A flexible approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines are also required.


Duties will include:


  • The engraving of customer information onto name badge blanks and sheets
  • The setting up of laser engraving machines
  • Data entry
  • Operating
    Epilog and Trotec engraving machines (In house training will be provided)
  • Operating
    Xenetech and Gravograph mechanical engraving machines (In house training will be provided)
  • Operate
    Mimaki digital printers efficiently (In house training will be provided)
  • To use
    Coreldraw and Mimaki's own software
    (Rasterlink). (In house training will be provided)
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is maintained at all times

The right person for this role, should:

  • Show strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Have an ability to multitask and think 'outside the box'
  • Have a positive and professional attitude
  • Have a strong ethic for work, along with critical attention to detail
  • Be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft Excel to an intermediary level
  • To be proficient in spelling and grammar
  • Have a flexible approach
  • Have experience of working within a fastpaced production environment
  • Ensure quality consistency, productivity and delivery levels are met

Working hours:


36.5 Hours
8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 3:30pm Friday
(during the training period)
Once training is completed working hours will be 2:00pm to 9:00pm Monday to Thursday and 2:00pm to 8:00pm Friday


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£6.83-£9.50 per hour
