Minehead Community Hospital is a state of the arts new build in a lovely country Town by the sea. Minehead is a small town with a population of just over 12,000 people.
We are not an acute Hospital and strive to deliver excellent care to the local community.
We have 19 inpatient beds and look after patients requiring rehabilitation, assessments for future care and Palliative care. We have single rooms and two four bed bays. We work as a team at Minehead Hospital and are looking for Health Care Assistants to join us. If you are looking for a great experience in Health care then Minehead Hospital is for you.

Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.
There will be an expectation of a flexible approach to shifts patterns with a commitment to participate in the on call service after appropriate training.

supervision perform a broad range of activities and assigned tasks as required by the patients individualised care plans.

- Carry out the duties of the role in a professional manner to patients, visitors and colleagues
- Communicate with relatives and patients and other team members in a sensitive and caring manner
- Participate and contribute to departmental meetings as required
- Accurately take and promptly pass on oral and written messages as appropriate
