Innovation in financial markets is never ending and new products are designed to ensure that the bank's clients (hedge funds, institutional investors, brokers etc), are served to their specific requirements.

Your role will be to coordinate the approval process and escalate issues relating to obtaining full approvals to the appropriate department or entity.

In essence, you make everyone involved aware of what is happening and coordinate the process from the outsetthrough to completion.

You will interact with many departments, you will produce and distribute all relevant documentation, control meeting minutes, set meeting agendas, track all open projects, maintain the standard operating model for all new product approvals and reject or reportdeviations.

This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to play a visible role at the heart of the trade floor.

It will offer numerous career paths and allow you to build effective working relationships with virtually every department.

You will need to meet the following criteria:

Strong academic background
Credible knowledge of fixed income, equity derivatives and structured products you don't need to know how the products are priced, but you should have an idea of how they are processed.
General knowledge of operational risk management practices
General knowledge of compliance / regulations that affect the trade floor
Knowledge of MI reporting and data capture systems
Previous experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous: Trade Support; Operations / Client Services; Training; Compliance or Operational Risk.
Previous Business Management experience would be ideal.
