Maintenance Stores Coordinator

Wigan

Up to £35,000

You will work as part of the site engineering team to control the management of all site assets.

The role will manage the efficient running of the preventative maintenance system to ensure the department delivers all planned maintenance and planned workwhilst meeting all legal and company requirements for employee health & safety and quality standards.

The role is key to supporting the site engineering team to achieve maximum efficiency levels and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets.

Responsibilities:

To oversee the stock movements within the store(s)
To oversee & maintain MRP inventory (min/max levels)
Stock ordering using the approved suppliers

Work Orders

Purchase, organise and prepare parts ready for reactive/preventative work orders
Maintain a high level of accountability and ownership of all aspects of the store(s) utilising the auditing process/Physical Inventory counts
Completion of daily PI counts
Develop and maintain PM system on SAP
Manage Corrective and Emergency orders in SAP
Evaluate completed work orders
Plan and issue work order for the maintenance team
Support in contractor control
Create and communicate costings reports
Building working relationships with suppliers of spare parts and contractors

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Experience of a FMCG/Manufacturing background (beneficial)
Good PC skills (Excel / Google suite)
