The role:

Xeinadin Group is a Top 20 firm of accountants and business advisors.

As Financial Controller you will work collaboratively with our group directors and management accountants and be responsible for our firms based throughout the Midlands.

The role will see you reviewing actuals, forecasting results, and reporting up to Group on a timely basis.

This is an internal facing role with the opportunity to set up systems and processes for scratch and influence the group and its finance strategies.

You will also be the first line contact for queries from respective firms.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement wide financial reporting system.
  • Act as the region main contact with Group Finance for the Midlands Hub and firms and support them with implementation of Group Accounting Policies.
  • Review all firms standing data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Include and develop key members of the admin and support team to enable projects to be implemented quickly and provide adequate cover within team.
  • Ensuring company legal data is up to date.
  • Assist in the implementation and review of Practice Ignition and pricing across the region.
  • Ensure completeness of firm data for new clients.
  • Lockup management.
  • Lead the transition of clients to direct debit payments.
  • Xero & Board "Super User" for hub.
  • Ensure firms chart of accounts are updated per Group requirements.
  • Annual external audit.
  • Statutory accounts.
  • Quality control on regional office submissions.

What we are looking for:


  • 5 years plus experience in a Financial Controller role in a large practice.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Strong processes and working practices in their existing firm with competent project management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
