Are you an experienced IT Manager looking for a new challenge?

This is a great opportunity to work for a manufacturer in Kingston.

Responsible for one IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible and accountable for the management and security of the UK computer systems, providing hardware, software and systems supportinternally and externally to our staff and customers.

Implement and instil IT compliance, policies and procedures across the UK to deliver an IT strategy which will also encompass the newly acquired businesses.

Key Duties to include:

Handson leading the IT function and manage IT requirements for the UK sites ensuring the services run smoothly, monitoring efficiency and ensure robust compliance and security measures across the departments
Be the main UK contact for the IT for the Group IT in Germany, developing key relationships
Control and manage the IT asset register concerning new additions, asset write offs in conjunction with finance and undertake regular asset audits
Responsible for all IT budget and investments
IT equipment; maintaining, repairing and upgrading as necessary to ensure it is kept in good working order
Maintain network communications internally, to head office in Bielefeld and to our third party providers
Administer the internal VOIP telephone systems and setup, configure and provide support for the company Mobile Phones, Mobile Broadband and Tablets

Essential Skills:

Minimum 5 years of similar handson experience working in standalone subsidiary within a Group structure
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and architecture
Experience of Unified Communication
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly and Outgoing disposition towards customers and colleagues

Hours and Benefits:

8.30 to 5.00 Monday to Thursday (Fridays 3.30pm)
