Description

Having undergone a period of growth we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Your role will be critical in delivering effective maintenance as well as playing a key role in improvement activity.

The role:

Responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance activity.
Management of day to day issues throughout the process as well as substantial planned maintenance activity.
You will make a major contribution to improvements to equipment and efficiency on site and as part of the engineering team foster strong working relationships with operations.
Promote and be an enthusiastic participant in Continuous Improvement projects.

Your experience

Apprentice trained or hold a recognised engineering qualification
Experience gained in an automated manufacturing or equally fast paced environment.
Multiskilled with strong electrical capability
An understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement would be advantageous.
You'll be a proactive character with the ability to build strong relationships across engineering and operations teams.
