A multi-site operation, situated in
Holbeach Hurn and
Fosdyke Lincolnshire, we consist of a 6,500 acre farming operation, joint ventures in fresh produce and four factories, employing over 600 people that package fresh, wholehead and prepared vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.

The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
Quality Assurance Operative to join our Technical Team in
Holbeach Hurn, working within our
Primary Retail business unit on a
5 from 7 shift pattern,
06:00 to 14:30.

You will be working on the line in a busy production environment and will be responsible for ensuring products meet food safety standards, customer specifications, and that products not meeting these are identified and actioned according to procedures.

A high level of accuracy to meet deadlines is therefore essential.

Duties to include

:

Monitoring and supporting production team with any quality issues on the line
Constant product review of packed product on the factory floor to ensure quality standards are maintained, highlighting any issues or out of spec material so action can be taken
Carrying out online packaging & label verification of all paperwork and resolving any issues found
Ensuring the daily and weekly schedules are maintained and completed and signed of accordingly. (Scales calibration, knife checks, PPE & Personal Hygiene checks)
Ensuring the new season checks are carried out for samples and findings are checked daily and documented and reported accordingly
Verification of grower detail and required approval has been granted for use
Positive releasing of end of line and despatch products for all customers
Collecting the shelf life samples of each product

About you

Have previous experience in similar role, ideally within a fastpaced production manufacturing environment
A can do attitude is a must
Results driven and motivated to lead a team to achieve output targets and KPI's
Quality minded with a high degree of accuracy / attention to detail
The ability to work under pressure
Selfmotivated and flexible
