Description
A superb role for a Bid Writer to join a prestigious business based in Bath.

In your role you will be working closely with the Sales team of which you will be responsible for researching and preparing documents for tender.

You will have previous experience within a similar role and possess excellent writing skills.

Offering a superb salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum and a great benefits package.


Your Role:


Take a hands-on role in developing, writing, editing, and formatting high-quality winning bids, particularly at the early stages of framework submissions which tend to require case studies.


Gain a deep understanding of potential clients' needs, tender requirements, and business operations, and where their needs can be met.


  • Preparing written information on the businesses experience, capabilities, and proposed contract approach.
  • Ensure all proposals are proofread, meet tender programme requirements.
  • Identify and engage with expert contributors and associates as necessary.

Skills required:


  • Excellent communication skills including preparing and delivering presentations.
  • Good knowledge of MS products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and confident using IT software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, sound problem solving skills and analytical thinking with demonstrable experience of delivering action plans to resolve issues and remedy disputes.
  • Excellent time management skills and prioritisation of tasks amongst multiple deadlines.
  • Evidence of producing high standard written documents on a consistent and time sensitive basis.
  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and assimilate large volumes of information into comprehensive proposal.
