Supply Chain Coordinator

Fixed Term Contract until December 2023

About the role


Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this fixed term position's primary purpose is to coordinate the smooth running of Osprey's supply chain process, ensuring inbound international shipments through effective and efficient communication and organisation.


What you'll do in the role

  • Communicate with International factories regarding purchase orders, paperwork, pricing and payments
  • Communicate with freight forwarders regarding shipments and delivery schedule
  • Liaise with warehouse regarding bookings and deliveries due
  • Liaise with Finance regarding factory invoice and payments
  • Forward shipment paperwork to freight forwarders
  • Run relevant reports and share information as required
  • Amend purchase orders in line with confirmed shipment contents
  • Update systems and logs with revised and confirmed delivery dates
  • Communicate stock arrival updates to relevant teams
  • Stock administration including stock transfers, accurate stock taking, updating stock records, reporting nonconformities and the coordination of returns

  • Experience of working in a similar supply chain position

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Efficient in Microsoft Software
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of numeracy
  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Experience of working in a similar supply chain position
